EXCITING NEWS!
The New State Team has made great progress in 2023 thanks to you! We’ve successfully acquired the land needed for our Music Park from the City of Milwaukee. We have successfully hosted multiple events this season. Having events from May to October has been a blessing. With your funding, we were able to hire interns to assist us grow as a team! Our interns have successfully helped setup the stage for every Washington Park Wednesday. Besides Washington Park Wednesday, we were able to set up and host events at The New State Music Park.
With your continued support, The New State is able to start construction on the cafe as well!
PHASE III: This is our final goal for The New State. Our last phase is to REBUILD THE THEATER!!
The programming: The Youth Leadership committee within the West Side Arts Un, Limited non-profit arm is excited to continue providing workshops and events for all ages!
For every $1,000 raised you can help us compete a weekend of programming at the New State Music Park starting Spring 2024.
Activating this space will allow us to continue working on our mission and move on to the last hurdle: fundraising for major renovation in the theater into 2024/25.
